CategoryFaith In Jesus

The faith in Jesus category features Seeking Him Today blog posts about how I have personally placed my faith in Jesus. Romans 10:17 in The Passion Translation is a good reference regarding faith. It says, “Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.” As you respond to Jesus’ anointed words, faith will be birthed in your heart. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Single and Not Giving Up

Most of you know my story so I don’t want to repeat myself too much. But for a quick recap, at 26 years old I was very single (as in never married and no kids) and I humbly asked Jesus to pick out my husband. I had no idea I would still be single at age 38…it was twelve years later and I was STILL SINGLE! While a part of me was super discouraged about my relationship status another part […]

Meeting My Inspiration: Lynette Lewis

Over 14 years ago I went to women’s night at my new church and listened to Lynette Lewis spill her heart and tell her story. She was so inspirational because she was real. Lynette opened up about waiting until she was 42 years old to get married to the man of her dreams. Not only did she marry the love of her life, she also inherited four beautiful sons and became a stepmom. As she spoke that evening at my […]

Isaiah 54

Isaiah 54 has been a chapter that the Lord has given to me over and over again. When I say given to me I mean that this chapter of scripture has been prophesied over me and that Jesus has led me to this specific chapter of Isaiah since the beginning of my walk with Him. I have read it and declared it over my life. Because my Seeking Him Today blog is all about learning the ways to seek Jesus […]

Fearless Faith

Image of fearless faith

Blog post by: Rayna Piazza Today let’s look at Psalm 27: 1-6 in The Passion Translation. I’ll pick up with the rest of the chapter next week here. In these verses, David gives us a glimpse into his approach of how to face hardship with fearless faith despite pending circumstances. It’s important to note that Psalm 27 is written by David before he was anointed king. If you’re familiar with his story, David was literally hunted by King Saul for […]

Raise A Hallelujah

Blog post by: Rayna Piazza As I sat down to pick out my Christmas cards online this year I was stuck. I could not pick a design and it wasn’t because I didn’t want to. I practically begged my husband for us to do Christmas cards. He jokingly calls them a WOM (as in ‘waste of money’ – lol!) and he tries to eliminate them from the Christmas budget each year. I, on the other hand, love sending out Christmas […]
