Anxiety can be debilitating at worst and downright aggravating at best. Either way, I want to eliminate anxiety in every part of my life. And I bet you feel the same way since you clicked on this post. Am I right? Eliminating anxiety is a process but it can be done!

We all have the same amount of hours in each day. And, in some seasons of life, there’s just not enough time in the day to schedule that appointment with a counselor. If this is you, then this article about eliminating anxiety is probably just what the doctor ordered.

The causes of anxiety are not fully understood. It is a complex and multifaceted disorder that has many contributing factors. The key to understanding the causes of anxiety lies in each individual’s history, personality, and environment. Recognizing what causes your anxiety is exactly what you need to overcome it.

  • Traumatic event
  • Genetics (and learned behaviors)
  • Chemical imbalance

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease. It can be caused by a number of things, including stress and trauma. The key is to ask yourself the tough questions to get to the root cause. Anxiety can also be caused by physical health problems like heart disease or diabetes.

Also, it is important to consider that the root cause of anxiety is often not clear and it can include a number of factors. Anxiety can even lead to depression or worse if it is not treated properly. Do not overlook the symptoms of anxiety, as they do need to be dealt with so that your emotions can be healed.

9 Strategies and Solutions for Eliminating Anxiety Attacks 

  1. Think about what you’re thinking about 
  2. Change negative thoughts to positive thoughts by focusing on truth 
  3. Forgive others
  4. Start journaling your thoughts regularly 
  5. Learn calming techniques like taking deep breaths, walking away to a quiet place, or calling a friend
  6. Assess your surroundings when anxious feelings strike 
  7. Become self aware of what exactly happened (thoughts, actions of others, other factors) to start the feelings of anxiety 
  8. Calm yourself with positive thoughts like, “I am okay. This will pass. I am not in any danger”
  9. Create daily decrees to speak over your life each morning
