Worshiping God Literally Saved My Life
When I was in my greatest emotional pain worship saved my life. By shifting my focus from myself to my God, my perspective changed and I was able to thank God despite my circumstances. Each and every person on this earth has been made in God’s image. As a result we are wired to worship the Godhead and seek the presence of God. The Godhead is Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Presence of God
The presence of God comes when you worship. Worshiping Jesus can be done corporately (in a group setting) or individually. It’s all beautiful to Him. You were created to worship and as you do the presence of God fills the room.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience], And He rescues [each of] them.

Radical Worship
There’s more to the story of how worship saved my life. Several years ago, it was prophesied over me to continue radically worshiping and as I did the chains would fall off. Ironically, I was already taking my worship to a new level, but I had not shared this with anyone.
As you can imagine, this prophetic word ministered to my heart immensely. As in, even though I had not told anyone, God knew. And, He told this sweet prophetic minister to tell me to continue radically worshiping. It was such affirmation and my heart soared with confirmation.
How did I do it? Glad you asked!
Radical worship can take on many forms. Dancing, jumping, laying on your face, kneeling before the Lord, singing from your heart like never before…those would all qualify. Think of it this way, you are offering a praise unto the Lord. And, the Lord looks at your heart. So, as long as your heart is all in then you are radically worshiping God.
As I radically worshiped, I was running around my little house and shouting praises to the Lord. I was thanking Him for my future husband (who I had not met yet) and my future children (who I had not met yet either). Jesus spoke to me during my radical worship and He confirmed that He had placed these desires (to be married and have children) in my heart. In 2015, I married the love of my life and became stepmom to our sweet, sweet boys. We now have a little girl after five years of fertility treatment. This particular radical worship took place in 2013.

Prophetic Worship
When you worship, God begins to speak. It makes sense. I mean, if you’re entering into His presence then why wouldn’t He speak? He’s there. You’re there. He will speak.
In John 10:27 the bible says that His sheep hear His voice and listen to Him. Prophetic worship is this amazing place of hearing God’s voice and speaking out what you hear. Often you will be calling forth your future. Holy Spirit will whisper to you. And, as you speak these words out of your mouth you are partnering with Jesus and releasing life with your words. You are prophesying your future.
Intimacy With God
Ultimately, worshiping God is intimacy with God. Intimacy means into me you see. It’s a place of bearing your soul before Jesus. When you do this, as you humble yourself and become transparent in your thoughts and feelings, God will move as never before.
